Looking to brighten up your home with a new plant or greenery? 🌿 It's important to look into types of plants that are safe for your animal to be around. Some pet-safe plants include spider plants and ferns like Asparagus and Boston Ferns. But every so often your cat may show a little more interest in your new plant then intended. So, what do you do when your kitty starts to chew on your new plants? They may be pet-friendly but you want to keep the chewing down to a minimum for the safety of your plant and your kitty. A trick to help break this habit: use a spray bottle (filled with water) from the opposite side of the plant when you catch your cat chewing. This gives the kitty the impression that the spray is coming from the plant itself.
